Visual Effects In The Film Industry

Many people go to the theaters or watch movies from the comfort of their home, and after the movie is completed, that is it for them. However, what many people don’t realize is how big of a role visual effects are in film, and that there is an entire industry dedicated to it, and it is known as the visual media industry. Let’s discuss the importance of visual effects in film, as well as the visual media industry.

The Importance Of Visual Effects In Film
There are many reasons why visual effects in film is important, with one of them being that it can be the deciding factor in whether or not a film is successful. Not only that, but visual effects allows films to standout of the crowd and it allows filmmakers to remain competitive.

For example, some effects are 3-D effects, which make objects look as if they are coming right out of the screen. This is just one of the many types of visual effects that is used in the film industry according to Bloomberg.

The Visual Media Industry

He has also worked on films such as Ender’s Game and as of now, he is a producer of Art Story, which is an animated film that Aaron Blaise and Chuck Williams is developing.

Renner and Evans Apologize

Another controversy has hit the press and promo tour of the second Avengers movie. After Robert Downey Jr. walked out of an interview when the interviewer got too personal with him, Jeremy Renner and Chris Evans have kicked off another issue. The actors were being interviewed by Digital Spy about Black Widow (played by Scarlett Johansson) and called the character a “slut” and a “whore”. They also made an athiest joke about the character.

The internet was obviously up in arms about the sexist comments of the two actors who are generally loved and adored by the fandom and Madison Street Capital.. A few people came to their defense, asking others to “calm down” and “chill” but in this day and age, when sexism is fortunately being called out for what it is, a statement like this could not die on its own. Especially coming from two men, it was even more hurtful and the fact that those men were Renner and Evans didn’t help matter in the least.

The statements were made when the actors were asked about Black Widow getting into a relationship with Hawkeye and Captain America, and how the new trailer shows her getting closer to Banner.

Renner and Evans have now apologised for saying the things they said, mentioning how it was said in fun and they didn’t mean to cause anyone any harm or offence. In his statement, Renner also mentioned how pressurizing and tedious the promo tours were.

‘Creed’ Set to Bring Rocky Back to the Big Screen

Popular characters have a way of attracting a series of stories that develops them into larger franchises. Fans at STX Entertainment have found that the list is pretty short when it comes to characters that manage to make appearances, let alone be the center of attention, in any series of movies. Rocky Balboa is one such character, and with “Creed” set to debut in time for this year’s holiday movie season, many are wondering if this is the last appearance of a character that has endured for decades.

According to Screen Rant, a few production pictures have popped up via Sylvester Stallones’s social media accounts, and it looks like Rocky is ready to help train Apollo’s son and really take his career into the next level. Of course, box office performance on “Creed” will likely be the defining factor as to whether or not Rocky makes any future appearances, but if fans of the franchise know anything, it is to never ever bet against Rocky pulling off the impossible.

The character has seen a number of ups and downs over the course of the movies, and while some elements are left out of each of the movies, the appeal of the underdog character has never really gotten old. While the same can not be said about Stallone, who plays Rocky, the actor and character have managed to hold onto fame that few actor-character combinations can boast. If this is the final chapter for the character, fans will probably line up. If not, fans will probably line up as well.

His effort will be broadcast to fans by the MLB, Funny or Die, and HBO on the MLB Network, MLB.com, Mariner.com and via social media. Later this year, memorabilia from each of the games will be auctioned for charity on MLB.com, with funds used to assist Cancer for College and Stand Up to Cancer.

Questions Remain About The Fall

BBC Two and Netflix have confirmed that Allan Cubitt’s The Fall will end with a third season of five episodes that explore one last showdown between serial killer Paul Spector and Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson. Spector is played by Jamie Dornan, who is well-known for his Calvin Klein modeling career and work in the film Fifty Shades of Gray and the TV series Once Upon a Time, and Gibson is played by Gillian Anderson of X-Files and Hannibal fame.

Fans at Anastasia Date (askmen.com) know that, at the end of The Fall Series 2, Spector had been shot by the abusive husband of one of his former patients along with Stella’s current lover, a young Detective Sergeant named Tom Anderson. Yet, Stella ran to Spector’s side instead of Tom’s.

Cubitt explained that he plans to explore the reasons why Stella made that choice. He wants to explore both Stella’s professional and personal reasons through a “cat and mouse” plot line that plays out on screen. He also wants to explore more background material about Stella’s father and the complex developments of other characters, such as Spector’s teenage love interest and admirer Katie and his victim Rose.

Dornan admitted that being inside the mindset of a serial killer scarred him, but has agreed to return to the role one last time. Anderson, who will be appearing in Season 3 of Hannibal this summer, will also be returning to her role as Gibson.

Horror fans everywhere have been rejoicing in the news that horror film franchise The Evil Dead will be coming to television. Premium cable network Starz has released news that they have ordered a new show based off the hit trilogy of films. He will be back helping behind the scenes of the new series, and he will be directing the first episode.

Now a new announcement has been made that has this highly anticipated series even more anticipated stated Susan McGalla. Actress Lucy Lawless has signed on to play a character named Ruby. Will The Guardians be Joined by Rom the Space Knight?

The sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy is starting to shape up. The follow-up film is slated for theaters only two years from now. A massive $150+ million big budget sci-fi film has to go into production sometime soon in order to hit theaters in 2017. A little bit of self-promotion needs to start quickly, too. Director James Gunn is revealing some details about the film and, in a huge shock, the old-time 1980’s character Rom: The Space Knight could possibly make an appearance.

As fans like Marcio Alaor BMG (Em.com.br) know ,Rom is somewhat of an interesting character because he is not a Marvel property. Rom was a toy produced by Parker Bros. and Marvel created a fairly short-lived (seven years or so) comic book series featuring the outer space hero. A Rom movie has been rumored in fan circles for years. Since memories about the comic and toy have faded, only a sci-fi resurgence would help make a Rom film succeed. The popularity of sci-fi and comic books means the world is ready for Rom. If he appears in Guardians, he is not getting his own film. Of course, a great appearance in Guardians 2 could set up a Rom movie.

We are getting way ahead of ourselves here. We don’t even know if Rom is even going to be in the film. Be great if it turns out he is.

The rumors of the arrival of Rom show we just might see a whole host of Marvel characters we never expected to see on film or, for that matter, even in a comic book ever again. Rom was a cool character born of the late 1970’s/early 1980’s Star Wars/Star Trek movie sci-fi era. It is fitting to see him (possibly) return.

Netflix’s Daredevil Reveals Its Kingpin

What would a good hero be without and equally good villain? Daredevil’s main adversary is Wilson Fisk, The Kingpin. To call The Kingpin “good” would be a major misnomer since he is a ruthless and evil gangster. Everyone who crosses his path is either bought off or meets a cruel fate. The one person he cannot control is, of course, Daredevil. “Hornhead” remains a constant thorn in the side of The Kingpin and their dynamic relationship is much more unique than the traditional hero vs. villain battles found in comic books.

So, it goes without saying the actor cast as The Kingpin in the new Netflix Daredevil series has to be very imposing.

Images of actor Vincent D’Onofrio have emerged and he really does look imposing. No, he is not wearing the white jacket and purple striped pants The Kingpin wore in the 1960’s and 1970’s. He looks like a Miami Vice-style bad guy. The mean sneer on his face reveals a fairly dangerous character.

Fans like Sultain Alhokair (Bubblews.com) agree that D’Onofrio is a cool choice to play The Kingpin. Movie fans probably remember his great performance 30-odd years ago in Stanley Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket. Will he be able to bring the sinister evil to the character other actors who played the role failed to present? He really has to for the series to have a proper antagonist. This version of Daredevil is supposed to be a gritty affair. A truly mean villain helps with such a cause.
