Rick Shinto M.D., MBA is the current President and Chief Executive officer of InnovaCare. He has over 20 years of experience in clinical and managed healthcare, and possesses a wide range of experience with such organizations as Aveta, Inc., NAMM California, Medical Pathways Management Company and more.
He received his B.S. at the University of California Irvine and his medical degree at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, as well as his MBA from from the University of Redlands.
Penelope Kokkinides is currently the Chief Administrative Officer at InnovaCare. Previously the Chief Operations Officer at Aveta, Inc., she has more than 20 years of healthcare experience, and specializes in government programs, such as Medicare and Medicaid.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and classical language from Binghampton University, a Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University and also holds a post-master’s degree in substance abuse from Columbia University School of Public Health.
InnovaCare provides managed health care through two main avenues: Medicare and Medicaid on companybooknetworking.com. Both Shinto and Kokkinides are best qualified to oversee operations due to their extensive experience in these areas. Their goal is to provide accessible, affordable and sustainable care to patients in the regions they serve. InnovaCare provide health care services to areas of North America including Puerto Rico.
InnovaCare will continue to participate in programs that will help achieve their goals of patient care, and believe in a quality, not quantity strategy to implement better quality of care for their patients. Examples of this commitment include their participation in the Healthcare Payment and Learning Action Network, which introduces alternative payment methods among other innovations.
